Calcium Aluminate is used for Metallurgy is a kind of auxiliary material for steelmaking,  as it speeds up secondary metallurgy process, especially faster desulphurization, Improves overall steel cleanliness and makes high grade steel with cheaper cost.

Application of Calcium Aluminate

Calcium aluminate products are widely used in steel mills companies in Iran as mostly on RH refining process of desulfurization. It is a product which is refining and iron and steel desulfurization pretreatment of water. Its applications have already been mature in some foreign countries, such as South Korea, Japan, the United States and the developed European countries.

Advantages of Calcium Aluminate

-Calcium aluminate has no fluoride and doesn’t erode furnace lining and ladle, and it is compact, non-absorbent.

-easy to storage.

-Stable phase and fast dus-treducing speed, rapid desulfurization effect stabilized at 60%, and suppresses phosphorus into molten steel.

-Calcium aluminate Improves the protective effect and reducing erosion to ladle lining.
