Magnesia brick is a kind of alkalescency refractory brick that made from the sintered magnesium with its content of 87% and that are combined with silicate. Different grade magnesite used as raw materials are applied in Magnesia bricks with various quality.
1-High temperature resistance.
2- Good slag resistance.
3- Strong corrosion resistance and steady volume in high temperature.
It is mainly used for wall and bottom of EAF, which parts need the good resistance to slag. Much higher of the density, lower porosity, smaller diameters of the porosity, much higher corrosion resistance will the bricks have.
